Zaandam: bridging the gap between the Netherlands and Russia

What is Zaandam famous for? Windmills, the oldest Albert Heijn, colourful modern Dutch houses. Moreover, this small town to the north of Amsterdam is an important historical place for Russia and its cultural exchange with the Netherlands.

You are invited to this evening where you can learn about the profundities of Zaandam and its connection to Russia, through lectures by Honours students Irina Morozova and Jesper van der Most.
